Two time award-winning actress, KATHLEEN GATI just played opposite Ben Stiller in MEET THE FOCKERS as Yelena, giving birth at the top of film. She just finished filming ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE starring Ed Asner. Other features include IGBY GOES DOWN opposite Susan Sarandon, in SUNSHINE (nominated for seven Golden Globe awards) as Josefa Sonnenschein, opposite Robin Williams in JAKOB, THE LIAR, in ZIGZAG opposite John Leguizamo, with Tom Berenger in HOLLYWOOD SIGN, opposite John Ritter in MAN OF THE YEAR and many many more.

In 1993 she won Hungary's BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS AWARD for her moving performance in GOLDBERG VARIATIONS and for THE ACTRESS AND THE DEATH, she won several international awards. Her funny lead role in Hungary's biggest hit of the 90's, WE NEVER DIE, (final 35-BEST FOREIGN FILM Entry for the Academy Awards) has made Kathleen Gati a very popular actress in eastern and central Europe.

Other film credits include the female lead opposite Brad Dourif in THE DIARY OF THE HURDY GURDY MAN, with Rick Springfield in A CHANGE OF PLACE, with Ben Gazzara in THE ZONE, opposite Jurgen Prochnow in THE FALL and in TODD SOLONDZ' first feature FEAR, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION.

On TV she has guest starred on ER, CARNIVALE, COLD CASE, THE AGENCY, ARREST AND TRIAL, BROTHER'S KEEPER, THE PRACTICE, RESURRECTION BLVD.,CBC's DA VINCI'S INQUEST and numerous others. In 1989-1990 she was TAFFY WINSLOW on ALL MY CHILDREN.

On stage, Kathleen recently appeared in THE GREAT ELECTION, at The Odyssey, in CROSSFIRE at the Geffen Theatre, in HEARTS, SOULS and OTHER MATTERS opposite William Allen Young at The Coronet and several other plays around Los Angeles. She has appeared in over 176 plays including I'M NOT RAPPAPORT with the Broadway cast, a highly acclaimed performance as the lead in THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS. OFF BROADWAY has seen her in Aristophene's THE BIRDS, POKEY, HIAWATHA EXPRESS, Chekhov's THE SEAGULL and many others.
